Your Home Inspection

Buying a Home

Buying a home is the most important and expensive investment most people make.  A quality home inspection is your best step in your Due Diligence of the home purchase.

Having an experienced, professional home inspector from Coman Home Inspections evaluate the home you are purchasing can significantly reduce your risk.

Buying a New Home

AND YES! New Homes need inspections too! Code Enforcement Officials evaluate newly constructed homes for building code violations and perform a limited inspection of crawl spaces and attics, but they do not operate components in homes to verify that they properly function nor do they have the time to perform an extensive inspection of your home. Code Enforcement Officials can perform ten or more inspections a day; usually spending only minutes at your new home. Our experienced, professional Home Inspectors normally perform only two or three home inspections a day and spend several hours performing your home inspection.

One Year Warranty Inspections

Most New Home builders give home buyers a one year warranty on systems and components in the home you purchased. Defects that were not apparent at the time of your new home inspection may be exposed after living in the house for almost a year. And components in your new home move and shift, which creates problems that your builder will repair. One Year Warranty Inspections should be performed around 11 months after the closing date of the home to provide adequate time to get the inspection report to your builder. Give us a call to set up your One Year Warranty Inspection.

Let Coman Home Inspections evaluate your home prior to putting it on the market, so that you have a better understanding of its condition and so you can eliminate unpleasant surprises.

Home Maintenance Inspections

Let's face it. Most people don't go into their crawl spaces or attics, so they don't know what lurks in these dark places ... water leaks, evidence of animal entry, rotted wood or other undesirable conditions. Most people don't test their electrical equipment, such as receptacles, ground-fault circuit interrupters, and arc-fault interrupters. Don't wait until a problem becomes costly. Have Coman Home Inspections perform a Home Maintenance inspection for you today.
